Taylor and Chris were married this weekend in the intimate chapel at Trinity United Methodist in Gainesville, FL. We had the pleasure of providing the flowers for their fuchsia, green and black affair. Here is a sampling of designs we used to enhance their elegant evening reception at Haile Plantation Golf & Country Club as well as the bouquets carried by Taylor and her sister Amy. ENJOY!

Tying the knot?

Solutions Bridal is putting on the 7^th Semi-Annual Florida Bridal Expo at the University of Florida Hilton Conference Center on Sunday, September 12^th from noon to 4:30 PM.

The Expo will serve as an excellent opportunity for brides-to-be to explore every possibility of planning their special day, from glamorous fashions to delicious goodies, elegant décor to exciting entertainment. Vendors will be available to talk with guests about their specialties and offer years of experience and advice in wedding planning.

The Expo will also be giving away great prizes, including a four day three night honeymooncruise, a $500 Bed, Bath and Beyond gift certificate, $150 Gift Registries at Macy’s and Belk, and two other wedding day giveaways valued at up to $5000 each!

Crevasse’s Regency Florist will be participating in the Expo, featuring some of our latest designs for bridal bouquets, cake flowers, centerpieces, and other floral regalia for your special day. Please swing by and say hello and check out our display!

And guys, don’t be shy! The expo will have a casino lounge and Texas Hold’em tournament for any gentleman feeling overwhelmed by the glamour! Tickets are $9 online and $15 at the door. A limited quantity of VIP passes are now available for $25. VIP ticketholders do not have to wait in line, are allowed early viewing of the vendors, given reserve seating to the fashion show and have access to the VIP Lounge. Tickets will sell out fast! Giving is easy when it's this much fun!

Our friends at the Boys and Girls Club of Alachua County are putting on thier eighteenth annual Gala for Kids- Rio Royale! Crevasse's Regency Florist is excited to provide the flowers and decor for the event, which will be a tropical getaway reminiscent of Brazilian Carnevale.
Last year's fundraiser, Passport to Rio, sold out nearly a month in advance and had over 800 guests in attendance making it the most exciting fundraiser in the organization’s 58-year history. We hope that with your support, the 2010 Rio Royale Benefit Gala for Kids will be an even bigger success!
During the course of the evening, guests will have the opportunity to meet many local and national celebrities, professional athletes and community leaders and enjoy an evening packed with tropical Brazilian food, capoiera demonstrations, music by Chaotic Vibez & dj E.S.Z., relaxing fun, dancing and lots of excitement.
The 2010 Rio Royale will be hosted by Radio Personality Storm Roberts along with Mrs. Shelley Meyer, wife of head coach Urban Meyer, of the 2006 & 2008 National Championship football team.The evening will include a full casino with a variety of gaming tables and slot machines, silent auction tables loaded with everything from rare sports memorabilia to exotic vacation packages and a live auction that will also feature a variety of unique gifts.

A fun night out!

I recently had the opportunity to check out the new Photography 35 studio at their Wine and View gathering. It is an absolutely gorgeous space! I am pictured here with Gregg from Photography 35, Betsy from The Plant Shoppe and Amy from Adore Events. I am looking forward to working with them in the near future!
